BCSARA Welcomes New Officers and Directors

At the AGM of the BC Search and Rescue Association there were several new faces introduced to the current board of directors. The new President for the Association is Don Bindon. Don has been involved with the BCSARA since its inception as the Treasurer, as well as a past RCMP Representative to the former BC SAR Advisory Committee.. Craig Gutwald is the new BCSARA Treasurer. Craig was previously the Regional Director for the South East West region. New Regional Directors include: Cindy Smith - Central South, Peter Goetz - Northeast South, Shelly McPhee - Northeast North, Chris Armstrong - Southeast West, Bruce Kerr - Vancouver Island South, Whitney Numan - North West South. The BCSARA also wishes to extend our thanks to our new Past President, Dave Brewer, for his many years of service to the SAR Advisory and the BCSARA. All SAR Groups and Members have benefited from Dave's Leadership over the years and look forward to his "sober second thought" in his new role. Welcome to all new Directors and Officers!
