Southwest East Region SAR Groups Train in Hover Exit/Entry

On November 17, 2007 18 members from teams in the SouthWest "East" region travelled to Hope, BC to take a Helicopter Hover Exit/Entry course at Valley Helicopters. Members learned the skills necessary to load and unload SAR teams from a hovering helicopter. This regional training initiative was made possible thru the BC SAR Association.
The Southwest East Region is comprised of SAR Groups from Maple Ridge, Mission, Kent Harrison, Hope, Chilliwack and Central Fraser Valley SAR Groups.
