With a busy season shaping up quickly & SAR prevention as the goal, the outreach teams are sharing the message at ski hills, trail-heads, in schools & on all media streams. With over 30 scheduled visits between ski hills, store fronts, tourist attractions & festivals in addition to over 65 presentations confirmed, the Kelowna Team & Vancouver Team have a fun-filled winter head.

Sandra Riches, the BC Provincial Coordinator for AdventureSmart, invites all the SAR groups and their members to join the AdventureSmart Teams at the events & presentations to help increase awareness to reduce the number and severity of incidents in the province.
